Mode of action
Cyproconazole is absorbed by the assimilating parts of the plant, the majority within one hour, and transported acroptally (upwards) in the xylem. This systemic translocation contributes to good distribution of the active ingredient within the plant tissues and prevents it being washed off.
Targets
It stops the development of fungi by interfering with the biosynthesis of sterols in the cell membranes.
